Our Programs

After-School Classes:

The Sunset Learning Center begins its fourth year in November. Having just served 132 students with a full-day summer program, we are now offering our summertime classes after-school and on weekends, with student:teacher ratios never exceeding 8:1.

We are a secular school housed in two special churches: Covenant Presbyterian, at Funston & Taraval (near West Portal station) and St. Paul’s Presbyterian, at 43rd & Judah (at the 43rd Avenue N-Judah stop). At these two sites we have recently renovated two classrooms, a multipurpose/recreation room, and a gym. Our partnerships with these churches enable us to offer skill-building small group instruction at affordable prices. We believe in inclusion, and are eager to accommodate students with special needs.
